Understanding Mindfulness (CPD accredited)
Understanding Mindfulness has been developed based on the Mindfulness Now 8 week course. Incorporating the concepts and techniques of the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme created by Jon Kabat Zinn, this course will help you to understand how mindfulness can be included into your life.
There are 8 modules, which can be accessed in your own time, but I recommend completing the course over a period of 8 weeks, giving yourself time to practice the techniques.
CPD accredited, this course provides 5 CPD credits.
Each Session has the individual session workbook available for file download in the first lesson.
There is little harm that can be done when practicing mindfulness, but if you have asthma or similar breathing difficulties, please be aware that breath work is part of the course. Only do what is comfortable for you, and ensure you have any medication to hand during breath work.
We will also be entering deeply relaxed states during the meditations, so if you are likely to find this triggering for any reason or medical condition (e.g. epilepsy) please ensure you stay safe during the practice.
